Here, the first four bars are each a separate exercise to be repeated. The bottom exercise consists of two bars.
This will really test your ability to hold a count in your head and play offbeat. It's a challenge worth mastering with and without a metronome.
Make sure your note reading is up to scratch if you want to try these out.
(Two 16th note rests back-to-back would usually be notated as an 8th note rest, but I find it a little easier to parse complex timings this way, so I took it easy on you!)
