Beautiful Disaster

What genre is this song? I have no idea. It's fun to play, though.
The intro riff is an 8 note repeating pattern. Notice that the palm muting comes off after the 4th repetition.
Now we have a more melodic section.
The tempo of this song is high (168), so nailing the timing of the 16ths in bar 1 will require a snappy bit of triplet picking.
The guitar dials it back to offbeat triad chords here for the vocals to step in on the verse.
The E chord here is non-diatonic. It contains a G# which provides some Dorian flair to this progression which is otherwise in Bm.
We will see that G# pop up repeatedly throughout the song.
Notably, the vocals sometimes hit a G note, but they avoid it when the E chord is being played to avoid clashing with the chords.
After two repetitions, we switch to a power chord version, still mostly outlining the same chords.
Make sure to hit the 8th note rests to keep the chords short and sharp.
From here, the song returns to the intro riff, the verse repeats, and then we move into what I'm calling the B Section.
Here, each four bar progression is played twice.
Inverted power chords are used on bar 2 and 4, the root is on the A string for these.
As you can see, the G# is all over this progression and you could argue that we've moved into an E major key.
We close that section out with this fun slidey riff. We repeat 3 times before stopping halfway through the 4th repetition.
The song returns here to the melodic riff, only with some higher notes played in triplets in the second half.
And that's it! From here, the song repeats the verse, the intro riff, and then closes on the B section.
Once you get every riff down, trying playing through the whole thing to get a feel for the flow of the song.
