Dust In The Wind
Kansas
Another fingerpicking song! They can tend to look a little intimidating in tab form, but when you are playing with 5 fingers (as opposed to one pick) it's a lot easier to hit notes all over the place.
The good news is this riff is the same picking pattern the entire time. It's repeated twice in the first bar alone. Once you've got it down, all you need to worry about is what chord to form with your fretting hand.
There's a handful of chords in the song, but they all center around the C and Am open chord shapes. The alterations made to these chords all take place on the B string. The only exception is the very last chord played to close out the pattern, a shell voicing of B.
